This morning, like all morning, i woke up at 5.20am - yep, true, since last tuesday, we start half an hour later... - leaving at 6.00 am, a the farm at 6.30am, start to work, but 5 minutes later, since it has rained yesterday night, and that the trees are wet, we're wet too... We keep on picking until the break at 9.30am - with my team, only for people plus me, this morning, we had already 5 bins, the like the other contract team, but they were one people more. We stop picking, thinking that with these "weather conditions", it doesn't worth anything to keep on working - but getting sick. The supervisor allow us to go back to the backpacker, but to stay at the hostel, in order to be able to go back to work if the weather become warmer, and the trees get dry.
At 12.45, the supervisor come tothe backpack, looking or us going back to work.
So, back to work at 1.30pm, but since some people didn't want to come back, and that some others are gone to the closest city to do shopping, a new contract team is done, but i'm not the driver, since i am... one of the picker ! Until 5.00 pm, we picked 10 bins (1 bin weight 500 kgs) so, two each, that means around 80$. Added to the 50 earned on the morning, today, i earn more money, working less, than the other day !

- Last week, it lacked 17 hours on my pay. It should be fixed this week.
- Friday and saturday, the "contract teams" didn't pick as much bins as usual, because of the trees. But it's still worth it for them to be on contract.
- I worked 6 days last week. Friday and Saturday, from 6.00am until 1.00, without a break lunch, because it was 'hot days'... I'm getting really tired, exhausted. It's really tiring to wake up every morning at 5.00am. Morevover, my back is becoming really painfull, because of the work, but also because of this fu"%$# bed. I dream to have a "real good night" in my bed in France...
- an fu*&%$ drunked irish bast%$# took my baseball cap saturday, whereas i was sleeping, and at least lose it somewhere, or took it with him when he was kicked out on sunday morning, because of the mess he did saturday night with few other people.
- The time i spent here in Pemberton allows me to think a lot. And, at this time, the thinks are forecasting a big deep change, when i'll go back to France..

Journée du jour
Well...
Other "nice thing" today : The supervisor fired people today. I won't criticize the fact he is firing people, i will criticize the way he did : he just called the manager of the backpacker, in the afternoon, whereas the people were still working in the farm, in order that the manager do the "dirty work"... What he did when people came back from work.

Quelques nouvelles
The new thing of the day is that the supervisor "tried" to make one team working "on contract", pay by bins made, and not on an hourly rate. These 5 people's team did 21 bins today ! So, the supervisor tries now to change the "working conditions" and to pay every one on contract. The team organization, starting from tomorrow will be easy : one team of 5 people, contract paid, plus "one tractor driver", ourly paid, but who as still to help the team picking. And tomorrow, i will be the "tractor driver" of the "pilot team"of today...

Today, saturday, we worked 6 hours only, from 7.00am to 1.00pm. I was again in "the slow team", we've done only 6 bins at the 10.00am break, whereas the other team had one or two more bins than us. The supervisor threatened to fire us. Some of the people didn't care, and didn't pick faster, but some of us did, so nobody will be fired (unless one, but because the supervisor doesn't like him). It would have driven me crazy if i would have been fired because of some people, but finally, i don't think it would have bothered me so much : i'm tired, my bak is painfull, and my fall on it wednesday didn't help...
Friday was a hot day. So they put on the water spreading, in the beginning, that was nice, refreshing the air, but after, since we still had to pick avocados, we were wet from the feet to the humps.

After working almost all the day in the avocados fields, 5 people, 3 germans, (Christian, Elvis, and Janness), one estonian (Lauri), and one netherlands guy (Tom), managed to bring me with them to a trip to Margaret River, renting the car of the manager of the bakcpacker in order to spend there New Year's Eve. After few kilometers, first police control. In Australia, it doesn't matter if there are four passengers in the back of the car, if 3 of them have the seat belts fasten... We keep moving. I'll drive for the last part of the road. In Margaret River, Every bars, pubs, etc. were full. The 6 of us had nowhere to go, and were with our beers without being able to drink them (drinking in the street would have exposed us to a 200$ fee, says to us the policeman who makes us empty our beer that we just have opened, going out of the car). This New Year's Eve starting to be a shitty one, i decided to not drink alcohol, because i don't wnat to spend the night in the car with five other people, and i was the only one to not have started to drink, so the only one to able to drive us back. We were in a street for midnight, then we decided to go to a backpacker's terrace, from where we will be kicked out few hours later... Then, we went to the beach, where we didn't stay - too windy - and then, we "hit the road again" around 3.00 am.. i drove all the way long but the last 10 km, because i was falling asleep driving - really scary - and i avod hitting two kangaroos...
In pemberton, people who stayed there said it was good, there was free barbecue and fireworks at the pub...

Un 25 décembre à Pemberton
Yesterday, i waste my time watching T.V. I went to bed "late"around 2.00am. As a result, i woke up "late" this morning, around midday... Breakfast immediately fllowed by lunch. Vincent, the belgian guy, shared with Vincent, the french, and me, his gift from his farmer : two marrons. We cooked tham and ate them with rice. Then we headed to the "garden" of the backpacker, for the frist free BBQ. Then, volleyball game with few people - i was in the winning team - and then, around 5.00, second free BBQ. PES2009 games, on playstation 3, and then, 3rd and last free BBQ, around 7.00pm. Than, watching T.V. again, and gone to bed around 11.00pm... Was it really Christmas day ???

Enfin...
JOYEUX NOEL !
Today, and like all the other days of the last week, i picked avocados. I even drive back the tractor with the trailor of the avocados bins ! But what it makes that this 24th of December was a special day was that we finished early, at 1.00pm, and, moreover, that the boss organized a barbecue with beers. Nice ! But i didn't take my camera...
So, the next working day will be next monday. 4 days to kill, and 2 of them are public holidays, it will be a looonnnggg end of week...
MERRY CHRISTMAS !

En voilà le texte :
C'est trop court une vie
Si nombreuses les envies
Rire,découvrir, échanger et aimer
Et puis encore aimer
Et puis encore aimer..
De chaque seconde profiter
Exister
Au train train résister
Visiter les plus lointaines contrées
Mais aussi tes moindres pensées
M’enivrer de parfums de saveurs
Me confronter à mes peurs
J’me lance
J’me lance
Exister
